00:31Explosive Ordnance Disposal Team assessed the device, which was later deemed inert and
00:37safely removed for disposal. West Midlands Fire Service confirmed the device posed no
00:42threat and the cordon has since been lifted, with Bordesley Green Road reopening to traffic.
00:49Authorities thanked the public for their patience during the incident and all evacuated residents
00:54have now returned to their homes.
