A victory in the court today for former Public Services President Watson Duke.

The High Court has ordered the union to immediately begin paying Duke his pension benefits.

This comes as Duke's lawsuit against the PSA is to be heard next month.

00:00Former president of the Public Services Association, Watson Duke, took legal action against the
00:07PSA, claiming since January 2022 he has not been getting pension payments.
00:14Duke served as the PSA's president from late 2009 until December 2022, when he became the
00:23Deputy Chief Secretary of the Tobago House of Assembly.
00:27Calling for the PSA to pay up, Duke's attorneys said, over the last two and a half years,
00:33Duke has suffered severe financial hardships and that Duke has become stressed, depressed
00:40and anxious from trying to recover the monies owed to him.
00:45On Friday, the High Court told the PSA to immediately pay up.
