00:00All right, over on the PGA Tour, a very exciting finish, but yes, Scotty Scheffler wins again.
00:10This time he outlasted Tom Kim.
00:12And by the way, outlasted, that is the proper word, my gosh, Tom Kim really makes the most
00:16of every shot, doesn't he?
00:17I don't know if you saw him playing yesterday, just played and played and played, took his
00:21sweet time on every shot.
00:23First player since Tiger Woods in 2009 to win six times in a single season.
00:27By the way, I don't know if you caught this yesterday, but in addition to Scheffler playing
00:32great, Tom Kim playing great, by the way, down the stretch, there was a five minute
00:36delay when six people stormed the 18th green and sprayed it with red and white powder.
00:41Yes, this happened.
00:44And the people wearing t-shirts, no golf on a dead planet, a lot of people protesting
00:50this for the environment.
00:53And you don't see this very often in pro sports, but boy, they planned this out right, right?
00:56So we have to wait to the 18th hole to get people like me to talk about it here on the
00:59show.
01:00So certainly we are.
01:01Scotty Scheffler won the event and of course was asked about this protest at the end of
01:06the tournament.
01:07Yeah, it was a great finish.
01:08This golf course produces a lot of those, you know, the exciting stuff coming down the
01:13stretch.
01:14And so it was nice to, to be out there competing.
01:16It's a great competing against one of my good buddies and Tom Kim, but it's also very difficult
01:19at the same time.
01:20You know, I want, I want what's best for him.
01:22And so sometimes it can be hard, I think for both of us, you know, battling against each
01:25other out there.
01:26But it was a lot of fun and I'm proud to be sitting here with the trophy.
01:29Yeah, it was definitely a bit weird.
01:31You know, I saw one person out of the corner of my eye and then I saw about five police
01:34officers sprinting around and from my point of view, they got it taken care of pretty
01:39dang fast.
01:40And so we were very grateful for that.
01:41I don't, it seemed to go by really quickly to us, but you know, when something like that
01:45happens, you don't really know what's happening.
01:46So it can kind of rattle you a little bit just because there's people running around
01:49the green and there's police officers running around the green and you don't know if they're
01:53peaceful.
01:54You don't know what they're doing.
01:56You have no idea what's going on.
01:57And so it can be a bit stressful, but fortunately I was out there and you could kind of see
02:00me and Akshay talking to each other for a minute, me and Tom talking to each other for
02:03a minute, just basically trying to calm down.
02:05You know, that can be a stressful situation and you would hate for the tournament to end
02:09on something weird happening because of a situation like that.
02:13And so I felt like Tom and I both tried to calm each other down so we could give it our
02:16best shot there on 18.
