Salute, Floridi: “Ai inserita in tutte le fasi atto medico radiologico”

(Adnkronos) - “L'intelligenza artificiale ormai si è inserita in tutte le fasi dell'atto medico radiologico. L’ambito che viene enfatizzato di più è quello della diagnosi che diventa più precoce, facilitata, per quelle più complesse oppure più veloce per quelle più semplici”. Lo ha detto Chiara Floridi, professore di Radiodiagnostica università Politecnica delle Marche, intervenuto durante la seconda giornata di “The Next Generation”, titolo del 51° Congresso Nazionale della Società italiana di Radiologia medica e Interventistica (Sirm), in corso al Mico di Milano fino a domenica 23 giugno.

01:19thus reducing the anxiety of the exam.

01:22Let's think of magnetic resonance exams, which today can last more than 20 minutes,

01:26and which are practically impossible to perform in claustrophobic patients or pediatric patients.

01:32Here, the possibility of immersing oneself in a virtual reality can help the patient.

01:36On the other hand, the possibility of using augmented reality, virtual reality,

01:41is also helpful to new doctors in training,

01:44therefore to those who are facing this discipline,

01:47because it allows to simulate medical realities, radiological realities,

01:53of interventional radiology realities,

01:55and therefore to perform exams, to perform procedures of interventional radiology,

02:00without using directly the patients as cables,

02:04but exercising themselves first on a virtual reality, without hurting anyone,
