00:00It is a clinical and educational protocol.
00:07Let's start with the educational part, which will allow, in these years that lead to the Olympics,
00:12and also after the Olympics, to create preparation courses for all those who have to do with the athletes.
00:18So doctors, general practitioners, orthopedic doctors, physiatrists, but also neurologists,
00:24doctors who take care of cardiovascular pathology to give the guidelines that are needed to manage
00:29the child who gets hurt during the sport and the athlete of national or international interest.
00:35And therefore, learning from what will be during the Olympics, to follow a path that will be educational
00:41in the scope of the educational and scientific activity of the CONI.
00:44On the other hand, then, doing the Olympics on a vast territory, and therefore that concerns not only large cities,
00:50which obviously already have adequate clinical structures, I give the example of Milan or Verona,
00:55but a territory such as Anterserve or Livigno, which obviously do not have adequate sanitary structures to accommodate
01:01the large number, not only of athletes, but of people who will intervene in those days.
01:06The CIRME will provide structural and clinical support for patients who go from the child who will melt on the ice
01:14and hit the head to the athlete who may need it.
01:17So we will bring technology and professionalism there on the spot to support the work of the Olympic medical staff.
01:24In terms of economic resources, as President Malagò said, there is an agreement with the State
01:30that obviously the national health system will take care, as it should, of all people.
01:35We will support the national health system to cover those needs or to enhance those needs
01:41that obviously cannot be covered, and that above all it would not make sense to set up
01:46such an important structure for a relatively short period of time.
01:49Let's put a temporary thing that will guarantee assistance to everyone in that period of about a month and a half or two months
01:56that the Olympics and Paralympics will take place.
01:59For the economic part, there will be no kind of aggravation for the contributor or for the national health system,
02:05because all the expenses that will be linked to the activity that is done by the CIRME and the companies that will contribute
02:13will be covered by the companies, because for the companies this will obviously be an advertising vehicle
02:18and consequently everything that will be done will be in charge of the companies without any kind of cost for the community.
