Wizz Air has been ranked the worst airline for delays, as queues are spotted at airports up and down the country. How can we avoid travel chaos this summer?

00:07data has been revealed and Wizz Air has been ranked the worst for UK delay times for the

00:11third year in a row. Analysis from the Civil Aviation Authority showed their flights took

00:15off an average of 31 minutes and 36 seconds behind schedule last year. Reacting to the

00:20news, a spokesperson for Wizz Air said they recognised there's work to be done but they've

00:24already seen significant improvements. But it's not putting punters off. Despite the

00:28delays, passenger numbers climbed to a record 62 million. Also appearing on the list were

00:34TUI with delay times averaging at 28 minutes and 24 seconds and British Airwaves with 21

00:39minutes and 36 seconds. Which the consumer group pointed out customers are paying record

00:44fees for unreliable services which they dubbed outrageous. The Board of Airline Representatives

00:49in the UK is a body which speaks for UK-based carriers. Their chief executive Dale Keller

00:54said 2023 was an extremely challenging year, particularly over the summer. But what about
