00:45The inspiration for the building is the traditional Tagalog clothing

00:55In the middle of the four towers, the shape of the sun can be seen from above from the Philippine flag.
01:02Banawi Rice Terraces was also inspired by the vast internal façade of the building.
01:08In 2019, the contract was signed for Phase 1 of the project
01:13for the construction of the most expensive structure worth Php 8.067 billion.
01:20Undersecretary Emil Sadain of the Department of Public Works and Highways was the contractor
01:27and Vice President for Operations Raymond Dalangin of Hillmarks Construction Corporation.
01:35Php 7.5 billion was allocated for the construction of the civil, mechanical, electrical, and sanitary
01:41and plumbing works such as steel and cement.
01:44Php 31 million was allocated for the facility used by the engineer
01:49and Php 520 million for other needs.
01:54When the GMI Integrated News Research looked at the contract,
01:57it found 58 items with lump sum or not detailed how many pieces.
02:04Its total value is Php 3.1 billion.
02:09Php 894 million was allocated for the aluminum glass windows.
02:14There was no breakdown in the allocation for the support equipment, automatic fire sprinkler system,
02:20metal accessories, and valves and pipes fittings.
02:24Based on the contract, Php 31 million was allocated for the facility of the engineers.
02:31Almost half of it or Php 14.4 million was allocated for the service vehicle, two pickups, and one van
02:38including operations and maintenance.
02:41Php 12 million was allocated for the facilities, living quarters, and field office.
02:47According to the Senate Committee on Accounts,
02:50Php 8.9 billion was allocated for Phase 1 due to variation orders
02:56or changes while the building was being built that reached Php 800 million.
03:02Phase 2 of the project for the fit-out or interior was also given to Hillmarks through negotiated procurement.
03:10The contract value is Php 2.375 billion.
