00:00Some areas lost their livelihoods because of the taste of typhoon Enteng.
00:13They are the ones who are left to help in the ongoing Operation Bayanihan of the Jeme Kapusu Foundation.
00:20On the first day of September, there was no stopping the pouring of rain.
00:29The residents of Allen in Northern Samar suffered heavy rains like typhoon Enteng.
00:376 out of 20 barangays in the area were flooded.
00:42When the typhoon Enteng hit, the wind was weak.
00:47But the rain was so heavy.
00:51There was a place called Setio Esperanza, and it was almost full of people.
00:59Reinaldo and Maribel's husband tied their house next to a tree so that it won't be flooded.
01:07We were afraid because we prayed to God that our house won't be flooded.
01:12Because we won't be able to live if the house is damaged.
01:15Nawili and Dominga were very worried because 13 of their chickens and ducks were not saved from the flood.
01:25We would have been saved if it wasn't for the rain.
01:27It's really hard because we've been doing this for a long time.
01:30Then suddenly, the flood came.
01:33It's a big loss for us.
01:38Under Operation Bayanihan, the GMA Kapuso Foundation immediately traveled to Northern Samar to provide assistance.
01:48The first relief goods we received was the Sabangulo and Lagundi barangays in the town of Allen.
01:55I am thankful to GMA Kapuso for coming to our barangay.
01:59It's a big help to us.
02:02We were also able to help the town of Lavizares and Biri Island.
