Saya #RemajaMalaysia EP:3 bersama Baiti Mohamed, pemenang anugerah Gold UiTM Degree Fashion Show 2024

00:09 No, I don't know how to say it.

00:18 Hi, Assalamualaikum. My name is Norbaiti Witte Muhammad.
00:21 I'm from Kelang, Selangor. I'm 74 years old.
00:26 I'm a former fashion design student.
00:29 So, now I'm...
00:31 While I'm still working as a solo in the industry.
00:35 [Music]
00:48 Actually, I'm interested.
00:50 Because at first, I saw the interest in my drawing.
00:56 And I like to draw clothes.
01:01 And I want to try to explore how to sew.
01:06 Because my mother is a...
01:08 Not a sewing maker, but there is a sewing recipe.
01:11 Sewing, sewing, sewing, etc.
01:14 After PNM, I targeted...
01:16 I think I want to connect the sewing trend.
01:21 And I want to have my own design.
01:25 At first, I still had the desire to design my own clothes.
01:29 My family is not the type to reject what their children take.
01:35 As long as our decision is good for us, for me, for my children.
01:41 So that when it comes out, there is a contribution.
01:44 Not just come out with empty hands.
01:47 So there is something we can contribute.
01:50 [Music]
01:54 Okay, I'll show you one of the winning designs.
01:59 This is one of the designs that many people are interested in.
02:05 That is the jacket.
02:06 And the outside that I use the pleat technique.
02:11 This outside is a bit neat.
02:15 The technique I use on this jacket.
02:17 This hoodie jacket.
02:19 I use the weaving technique.
02:23 But it's a lot of manual.
02:26 So originally this thing is actually a fabric jacket.
02:30 Where I cut each one with a rather long size.
02:36 So each jacket I got in...
02:40 180 jackets for 4 designs.
02:43 For the entirety of my collection, I...
02:47 During the semester from the beginning of the semester.
02:51 Until the show that day.
02:53 In more than 3 months.
02:55 On the day of the event, I was not really calm.
02:59 Because we made the design.
03:01 So when I wanted to go out, I had all kinds of thoughts.
03:05 All kinds of thoughts.
03:06 What did people say about the design?
03:08 At that time, I felt like I was ready.
03:10 If there was a scandal or something.
03:12 I've been to the lottery.
03:15 I don't think I care.
03:17 Because for me, there are friends who are more dangerous than me.
03:20 More dangerous than me.
03:21 When talking about the original.
03:30 We will refer to my advice.
03:33 I always teach my students to know themselves.
03:36 When we know ourselves.
03:38 We know our weaknesses.
03:40 We know our advantages.
03:42 So when they know the advantages and weaknesses of us.
03:45 They know we will release our own design.
03:49 And we will improve ourselves.
03:51 And at the same time, we have to refer to the current trends.
03:55 So from there, we can include.
03:57 We are not making a mistake.
03:58 We refer to other brands.
04:00 We are not making a mistake.
04:02 But we just refer to it.
04:03 When I look back, the netizens said.
04:06 She's like a Lala, a wapel, a walai.
04:12 For me, that's okay.
04:14 I feel like when people look at it.
04:16 I remember my childhood.
04:18 For me, that's a positive thing.
04:21 But they don't know that it's just a ceramic sculpture.
04:25 When people request their own design.
04:28 I have a suggestion.
04:31 I have to evaluate the design first.
04:33 My suggestion or my concept is.
04:36 Closed modesty clothing.
04:39 That's the long sleeve.
04:42 What is the role of young people in Malaysia?
04:50 For me, young people in Malaysia need to have a young soul.
04:55 I mean, young soul means matlamat.
05:01 Because young people are the starting point.
05:05 For us to plan.
05:07 To plan and plan.
05:10 To plan what we need to do in the adult world.
05:16 So, for me, young people are the ones.
05:18 Who plan to do better.
05:22 For me, there's a chance to create a moment.
05:26 We know who we are.
05:30 We know our weaknesses and strengths.
05:33 We know what we can do.
05:37 We know what our strengths are.
05:38 We know our goals.
05:40 I'm Norbety Mohamed.
05:42 I'm a creative student at USA Alam.
05:45 I'm a Malaysian student.
05:47 Thank you.
05:49 I'm Norbety Mohamed.
05:51 I'm a Malaysian student at USA Alam.
05:53 I'm a Malaysian student at USA Alam.
