00:13 The Beach Boys just represented some sort of fantasy.
00:16 They were participating in the creation of a California Dream.

00:21 Man, they made me want to go to where they had cars, and girls in bikinis.

00:29 And son, their music takes you some place.

00:34 There's definitely been ups and downs,
00:36 who probably have been counted out half a dozen times.

00:40 We used to sing three-part harmony in the backseat of the car,
00:43 and that's the birth of the brothers singing together.

00:48 Three brothers, Brian, Dennis and Carl,
00:50 a cousin Mike Love and our good friend El Jardin.
00:53 That's family to me.
00:55 We've known each other for a really long time,
00:56 and there really is a great deal of fellowship in the group.

01:29 And Brian went, "You sold my songs ?"
