Trump Receives NRA Endorsement, Urges Gun Owners to ‘Be Rebellious and Vote’

Donald Trump urged gun owners to vote in the 2024 election as he addressed thousands of members of the National Rifle Association, which officially endorsed him just before he took the stage at their annual meeting in Texas on Saturday.

00:11 But one thing I'll say, and I say it as friends, we've got to get gun owners to vote, because,

00:17 I don't know what it is.

00:18 Perhaps it's a form of rebellion because you're rebellious people, aren't you?

00:22 But gun owners don't vote.

00:26 What is that all about?

00:27 I've heard that.

00:28 I heard it a few weeks ago.

00:29 If gun owners voted, we would swamp them at levels that nobody's ever seen before.

00:35 So I think you're a rebellious bunch.

00:38 But let's be rebellious and vote this time, OK?

00:41 If you go out and vote, I understand exactly why you don't.

00:47 But we have to win this election.

00:49 It's the most important election in the history of our country.

00:52 You've got to get all your friends, all the gun owners.

00:54 They have to go and they have to vote.

00:56 If they vote, there's nobody that can beat us.

00:58 And let there be no doubt, the survival of our Second Amendment is very much on the ballot.

01:04 They're going to -- oh, if they get in, our country is going to be destroyed in so many

01:09 But the Second Amendment will be -- it's under siege.

01:11 But with me, they never get anywhere.

01:13 And we need that Second Amendment for safety.

01:16 Forgetting about even going hunting and all of the things that you do, we need it for

01:22 safety.

01:23 The Biden regime gets four more years.

01:25 They are coming for your guns.

01:26 One hundred percent certain.

01:28 Crooked Joe has a 40-year record of trying to rip firearms out of the hands of law-abiding

01:33 citizens.

01:34 But under Crooked Joe Biden, everything you stand for is under threat like never before.

01:39 Our Second Amendment, which is largely why you're here -- I mean, that's the biggest

01:44 statement for you.

01:45 You know, when I go and make speeches at different places, it's always important.

01:50 But today, this is the big statement.

01:52 It's under siege.

01:53 Second Amendment is under siege.

01:55 And I'm meeting -- I don't know if you read, but I'm meeting next week, very soon, with

02:00 the libertarians, because, largely, they have so much of what we have.

02:06 You know, they're also people of common sense, generally speaking.

02:09 They have a couple of things that are a little different.

02:12 But we have to join with them because they get their 3 percent every year, no matter

02:16 who's running.

02:17 And we have to get that 3 percent because we can't take a chance on Joe Biden winning.

02:23 He's the worst president in the history of our country, by far.

02:28 We can't have him.

02:34 But RFK Jr. says bad, bad things.

02:37 He calls you a terrorist group, and I call you the backbone of America.

02:41 That's a big difference, wouldn't you say?
