00:00The IMF has put forward new demands to reform the tax system.

00:04Shoaib Nizami is with us, we will get to know more.

00:06What are the demands, Shoaib?

00:08This is the fourth day of the talks between Pakistan and the IMF.

00:11A session has been held on the FECP and the tax system.

00:15The demands are that the system of taxes should be made easier,

00:19that the tax system should be established in the context of welfare,

00:21and that the requirements of the share tax should be abolished

00:25on the level of welfare and on the level of the tax system.

00:30The 18-century rule should be applied to everyone

00:32and that the rule of minimum tax should be abolished.

00:35Similarly, all the supply chains related to income tax and share tax

00:38should be made official.

00:40To make the insurance sector better in the country,

00:43a new regulatory border should be established.

00:46The system of insurance should be taken over from the FECP

00:49and to develop the insurance sector in the country,

00:52a reliable IMF should be established.
