00:26 in a different location from where it was first erected. Known by people who use it

00:32 daily simply as the Banana Bridge, the yellow painted structure connecting York Road and

00:37 Bedminster with Clarence Road and Redcliffe was originally built as a temporary crossing

00:42 where nearby Bedminster Bridge stands today. Soon after it was erected in 1883 it was transported

00:49 on barges in full tide and relocated to Langton Street. But this bridge is now closed for

00:56 18 months of refurbishment.
