Supermarket Sweep (S1, Ep 50 - Nov 12th 1993)

Today's happy shoppers are Tracy & Rachel from Birmingham, Dave & John from Luton, and Donna & Julie from Manchester. One contestant nearly loses her ski pants doing the Mini Sweep, leading Dale to quip "Bit early in the morning for that, isn't it?" But it doesn't get any better for him as he questions the teams as he learns that one hosts "kinky underwear parties" (as her pal puts it) and another is a fan of The Chippendales, while her hapless pal had a bookcase fall on her (and no, that is not a euphemism). After all that sauciness, it's no surprise that all of them are on their game as it proves a very competitive quiz round, meaning it's all to play for going into the Super Sweep. It's fast and frenetic, but could that be costly for someone with those tricky trollies?
