00:00 At the trilateral leaders' summit, President Bongbong Marcos, U.S. President Joe Biden,

00:06 and Japanese Prime Minister Kishida Homiyo, the three leaders announced the agreement

00:11 on the use of Coast Guard and militia vessels in the South China Sea.

00:17 It is also said that the repeated blockade of China's maritime vehicles in the Philippines

00:23 and its supply to the Iungin Shoal is also a concern.

00:26 They called on China to comply with the ruling of the arbitral tribunal that the Philippines

00:32 is in an exclusive economic zone in Iungin.

01:10 He also mentioned the opening of the economic corridor in the Philippines with the help

01:14 of the G7, the seven richest countries in the world.

01:17 It means more jobs for people across the entire region.

01:22 It means more investment in sectors critical to our future, clean energy, ports, railroads,

01:29 agriculture, and much more.

01:31 President Marcos thanked the $1 billion private sector investment of America in the Philippines

01:38 and the official development assistance of Japan and its private sectors that reached

01:42 600 billion yen.

01:43 We seek to identify ways of growing our economies and making them more resilient, climate-proofing

01:49 our cities and our societies, sustaining our development progress, and forging a peaceful

01:56 world for the next generation.

01:59 To secure peace and prosperity in the Indo-Pacific, I hope to reaffirm our intention to further

02:11 strengthen trilateral cooperation and to present the specific way forward through today's meeting.

02:19 The Trilateral Leaders' Summit is truly historic and important.

02:23 Not only because the three Indo-Pacific maritime democracies have joined forces, but also because

02:31 it will determine the future and direction of our region.

02:36 An independent, open, peaceful, and prosperous Indo-Pacific region that will continue to
