Mancunians discuss whether prison sentences are too soft in the UK

We speak to people on the streets of Manchester about prison sentences.  It costs on average £50,000 for each inmate. We discuss whether prison sentences should be more lenient or if we are too soft as a nation on offenders.

00:44 absolutely they need a more severe punishment. Too soft, yeah, too soft. People know that if

00:54 they get a jail sentence of six years you can have it, can't you?
