We tried Paradise Island Adventure Golf in Sheffield and it was surprisingly hard

Sheffield Star reporters Kirsty Hamilton and Chloe Aslett visited Paradise Island Adventure Golf at Valley Centertainment.

00:00 The star was invited to play two free rounds of golf at Paradise Island Adventure Golf.

00:07 This venue at Valleys Entertainment is open until late into the evening every day.

00:14 After checking in with reception we were given a locker key to put our stuff into the locker

00:21 and we were given of course our golf balls and club.

00:26 Paradise Island has recently teamed up with England Golf in a bid to introduce more people to the game.

00:32 This partnership means that players at Paradise Island can now use the England Golf app.

00:38 This free to download app will allow golf players of all abilities to track their average scores.

00:43 We were just glad that the app did the maths for us.

00:46 Paradise Island has two 18-hole courses and we did try them both out.

00:51 We started on a desert island and we did have a good time.

00:55 Neither of us particularly played a good game but I think if you're a bit more coordinated than us you might find this a bit easy.

01:02 Chloe is very, very brilliant over here.

01:05 The whole venue was quite well decorated and there was an occasional ramp like this where you could challenge yourself.

01:13 We visited the venue at about 4.30 on a weekday and I think we were the only people there which was quite nice because we didn't feel rushed.

01:22 Chloe really liked this hole, we thought it was quite fun.

01:25 Chloe was really beating me up until this point where our scores came quite close.

01:30 But ultimately, although she got it in 13 and I got it in 2, she did unfortunately beat me.

01:42 So unfortunately I got 66 and Chloe 162.

01:47 The first course did take us quite a while so I missed every one.

01:52 We did challenge it a bit quicker so this was more than I thought it would be.

01:58 I think we both connected with the death hole a bit better here.

02:01 It just felt a bit more fun and I found my face charming and Chloe helped us.

02:07 When we reached the end we tried to put our skills to the test by winning the whole game.

02:13 Unfortunately neither of us did win but Chloe won overall.
