00:07 I'm with Diane Stephens, the Manager of the Uff Park in the Headland.
00:10 Looking a wee bit tired, paintwork and the cementwork on the wall.
00:14 I believe you've won a grant to replace it, is that correct?
00:16 We have, we've been awarded £497,534.
00:22 Well remembered!
00:23 To do some really essential repairs to the concrete works that you can see around us and across the scheduled monument part of the site of the Uff Battery Museum.
00:34 How long will that take to get done and when will it start?
00:37 We're hoping to get work started late this summer, early autumn.
00:42 And we're hoping that they're going to take about 12 months to finish, but everything is weather dependent on the Headland.
00:48 So hopefully the weather will be with us and it will take us about 12 months to complete.
00:54 So will it be closed when it's getting done or will members of the public still be able to come?
00:58 We are hoping to keep the museum open to the public for the entire time that the works are done.
01:02 Obviously we close in December and January anyway, but hopefully we'll be able to give the public full access to the museum or at least only have small areas taken away at a time.
