00:05 gutted that you had to go off injured with what looked like a nasty hamstring injury?

00:08 Yeah, definitely. I felt like I was going into the game when it got to that point, but

00:12 unfortunately I fell apart in the hamstring, so it's not the best but we'll see. I'm going

00:17 to probably go back to Bradford, get that assessed and hopefully come back the next

00:21 couple of weeks.

00:22 Okay, I mean obviously you're just up the road, you've just established yourself into

00:25 the team, you scored your first goal last week, I know how delighted you were to get

00:28 that goal, it's from the...

00:29 Yeah, definitely it was a big moment for me, obviously I've spent a few weeks trying to

00:33 integrate myself into the team and then I finally got the tournament opportunity and

00:36 then obviously this has happened. I'm happy to be in the team obviously and hopefully

00:41 it's not too bad that I can come back and hopefully help the team towards the end of

00:44 the season.

00:44 So how did the move come about in terms of the distance between Bradford and Elgin,

00:48 it's so massive.

00:49 Yeah, so obviously in England there's lots of non-league systems and I'd say this one's

00:55 obviously known as a professional league so obviously that sort of drew me to this

01:00 sort of situation. I think going away from home's not a bad thing, it's only for three

01:05 months so I learned a lot while I'm here and I think it was the right decision.

01:09 So where have you been staying?

01:10 I'm staying up in Lossiemouth which is only about 10 minutes drive so it's not too bad.

01:16 And how are you finding Scottish League 2 football?

01:19 Yeah, it's different to what I'm used to because obviously I'm used to academy football

01:21 so you're literally passing it round the back, playing it, playing nice football, trying

01:25 to work nice goals whereas here you've got to win the game so you've got to do certain

01:30 things that I wouldn't always do. In an academy situation they'd forgive you for doing certain

01:35 things and making mistakes whereas here you make certain decisions to help the team win

01:40 and that's the most important thing.

01:41 Yeah, I've been happy with my senate, I think I've been doing what I can to help the team.

01:46 I think last week, obviously it's a new position for me, right wing, I've never played there

01:49 before but I feel like I'm taking it stride by stride and learning more things to do.

01:54 Like today I thought I inverted well to get on the ball which was OK.

01:58 And does Elgin's style of play suit you well as well?

02:01 Yeah, I think in comparison to some of the teams that we've been playing recently who

02:04 are a lot more direct, I wouldn't say I'm the best for a direct sort of playing team

02:08 whereas Elgin do try, they've got the wingers that invert, you've got centre-mids that

02:12 are playing the ball which is really helpful for me so yeah, I'm enjoying it.

02:15 So Elgin's got six games left I think it is now?

02:17 Yep.

02:18 Are you still hopeful that you can be back and play a part in their final matches?

02:22 Like I say, I don't know yet but I'm hoping to do so, I'm hoping to do so, yeah.

02:26 You certainly do because I would imagine this has benefited your career, you know,

02:29 to be playing a bit of Scottish League football.

02:30 Yeah, definitely, men's football is exactly what I need to sort of stand myself in good

02:34 stead to go back to Bradford and do well so yeah, definitely appreciating the opportunity.
