00:00 Good morning everybody, thank you for coming. I'm really delighted to be here today to officially
00:08 launch the opening of our new police hub in Hastings, made with 1300 recycled bottles.
00:18 So it's recycled, it's also powered by solar panel, so you can see the little stand on
00:24 the side there. It's fully functioning and PCSOs like PCSO Gibbons Jones, who's with
00:32 us today, will be based here talking to the public, doing that outreach that the public
00:38 tell us is so important. And I'm really also delighted we've got Inspector Breeze here
00:44 from the local NPT, who's also on hand to help me cut the ribbon and officially launch.
00:52 But it's really lovely, have a quick pan round with the cameras, we've got local councillors
00:56 here, I've got the chair of the Police and Crime Panel as well, which is fantastic, the
01:01 new chair of Crime Stoppers for Sussex, wherever he is, if he is there, and the BCRPs and BIDs,
01:11 also here, and the local council officers as well, who work on anti-social behaviour
01:17 and other issues to keep us nice and safe in Hastings. So I'm really delighted, even
01:23 the sun has come out today. So it's lovely to have everybody here, thank you for coming
01:28 to support us, and, do you trust me with the scissors? I do now, Mum. He does now. I officially
01:35 open, to a big round of applause, the Hastings Police Hub. Fantastic. Thank goodness it opens.
01:52 Have a look inside, it's like the TARDIS.
