Your ski conditions forecast for the end of February

From New England to the Northwest, AccuWeather's Melissa Constanzer explains if the last days of February will be good ones for you to hit the slopes.

00:02 skis for a spectacular week ahead and in

00:04 some locations we're going to have

00:06 better chances of it than others.

00:09 one of the spots we're going to go to

00:11 first because hey, they're getting the

00:13 moisture they're getting the snow.

00:15 Really cold though for your Tuesday.

00:16 Little bit of snow coming

00:18 in for the afternoon.

00:19 This is kind of our break in

00:21 between the storm systems.

00:22 And you can find those accurate

00:23 real fill values down into the

00:25 single digits for many.

00:26 And like I said,

00:27 we are still getting the snowfall,

00:29 so it's a little bit of a challenge

00:31 for some if you're there.

00:32 Actually, just want to show

00:33 you though really quick.

00:34 We do get the range coming back in at

00:36 least a little bit of it on Wednesday.

00:38 Not quite as cool and then we'll

00:40 back into that next storm system as

00:42 we get into Thursday across the Northwest.

00:44 If he goes through the interior

00:45 West Beaver Creek, Colorado.

00:47 It's looking pretty good.

00:48 Got the snow here Tuesday

00:49 and that's our colder day.

00:51 Then we start to get a little bit

00:52 more mild ahead of that next storm system,

00:55 so no big problems as we go into Thursday

00:57 and then we'll take you into the Northeast.

00:59 Because here's some of the

01:00 challenges that we have.

01:02 Very warm conditions for skiing.

01:03 This is like late March skiing

01:05 in the Northeast Tuesday,

01:06 Wednesday in the 50s.

01:07 We will flash back to reality or then

01:09 some on Thursday with that cool down.

01:11 But look what happens.

01:12 We get the rain before we cool down,

01:15 so expect some icy spots.

01:16 I think as you head through Thursday,

01:18 that's going to be one of those challenges.

01:20 Blue knob I is looking tough Wednesday.

01:22 Thunderstorms out there,

01:23 so it's not going to be an easy time.

01:26 It's not going to be an easy time to be out on the slopes.
