The family of a man who died in a crash on Soho Road have paid tribute. Hizar Hanif, aged 31, sadly died when the vehicle he was in was hit by an Audi on Sunday. A 25-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
A speeding driver who was jailed for eight years for killing a university student has been convicted of driving whilst disqualified following his release from prison. Mannan was jailed for 12 weeks and banned from driving for a further 770 days after pleading guilty.
Snobs nightclub is set to begin a new era in a new venue on Broad Street. The nightclub will close its current premises after a final night on Saturday 2 March. It will reopen ten days later bringing with it all 45 current staff and creating another 15 jobs.
