00:37 Just over three weeks ago, now, I lost my grandson Mason.
00:48 He died along with his best friend after being attacked outside his home.
00:53 His death has had a profound effect on all the family we have been left in bits.
01:00 He was 15 years old. No life should be ended at that age.
01:05 The support we've received from the community since his death has been incredible.
01:11 From kind words to acts of kindness, our neighbours have been there for us
01:17 and I really can't describe how much this has been appreciated.
01:22 I'd like also to thank the police for everything they have done.
01:26 The family liaison officers were in constant contact with us in the days that followed
01:32 and continue to provide us with this support.
01:35 The investigation team has also been great and it is because of them people have been charged.
01:42 So while we will never get over Mason's death,
01:47 myself and all of Mason's family want everyone who has supported us
01:53 to know how grateful we are. Thank you.
01:56 I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank everyone that has been affected by Max and Mason's death.
