00:00 Rafa, normally home to 280,000 people, has now become a tent city of more than 1.5 million,
00:08 as Gaza's civilian population faces increasingly unlivable conditions.
00:14 Southern Gaza's two main hospitals are now out of commission after Israeli raids, with
00:19 dozens of health care workers arrested and others targeted by Israeli snipers.
00:24 In the Nusrat camp of central Gaza, an Israeli airstrike hit a residential building Tuesday
00:29 day, adding at least 12 more to the death toll.
00:33 MAN (through translator): Suddenly, an earthquake hit us. Missiles or bombs fell on the building,
00:39 as the world looks on, uncaring. My brother was martyred with his daughter and son. My
00:44 other brother's children are still under the rubble.
00:47 WILLIAM BRANGHAM: As infectious diseases spread, hunger and malnutrition are now creeping towards
00:54 famine. The World Food Program says it has been forced to pause food deliveries into
00:59 northern Gaza, as the several hundred thousand Palestinians remaining in the isolated rubble
01:04 of Gaza City grow increasingly desperate.
01:08 The latest reports confirm Gaza's precipitous slide into hunger and disease. Gaza is hanging
01:13 by a thread, and WFP must be enabled to reverse the path towards famine for thousands of desperately
01:20 hungry people.
01:22 The WFP first suspended deliveries in the north three weeks ago, when one of its trucks
01:27 was hit by an Israeli airstrike, the U.N. relief body now facing what it calls complete
01:33 chaos and violence due to the collapse of civil order.
