00:00 For weeks, protesters have been gathering in Israel near the Egyptian border
00:04 to keep desperately needed aid from getting into Gaza.
00:07 With trucks lining up, aid has all but stopped flowing into the territory,
00:12 and this group of demonstrators wants to keep it that way
00:15 until Hamas releases the hostages it kidnapped on October 7th.
00:19 It's completely immoral to demand today that Israel send humanitarian trucks
00:25 to a population that supports Hamas,
00:28 a population that also holds our hostages,
00:31 a population that collaborates with the enemy.
00:34 We are at war.
00:36 Meanwhile, the crisis inside Gaza only gets more dire.
00:41 A new report says hunger is soaring across the territory
00:44 with one in six children under the age of two suffering from acute malnutrition.
00:50 The crisis is more pronounced in the north of Gaza,
00:53 which has been almost completely cut off from aid for weeks.
00:58 Children are crying. They're crying from hunger.
01:01 We don't know what to give them.
01:03 We can't find anything to feed them.
01:05 Please help us.
01:07 In light of the growing crisis,
01:09 the United Nations Children's Fund, or UNICEF, issued a warning,
01:13 saying the Gaza Strip is poised to witness an explosion in preventable child deaths,
01:18 which would compound the already unbearable level of child deaths in Gaza.
01:23 With about two-thirds of families in Gaza limiting meals to one per day,
01:27 experts say there's a high risk that malnutrition will continue to rise.
