00:00 I'm really excited to be here at Highbury-Lisington station as we announce
00:04 the six new names and the six new colours for these six distinct lines on
00:09 the Overground. Look, Teelfield took over the Overground in 2007, there were just four
00:13 lines, they weren't really used and they were called London Overground when we
00:18 took them over. There are now six lines, 113 stations, there are three million
00:22 journeys every week but it's a nightmare trying to explain to people how to get
00:26 around the London Overground. How do you get from Croydon to Enfield? How do you
00:29 explain to somebody how to get from Liverpool Street to White Hart Lane or
00:33 Wembley Central to Shoreditch? Wayfinding is really difficult so by
00:38 having six distinct lines with six distinct colours that will help but also
00:42 what we've done is we've spoken to customers, local communities, industry
00:46 experts, historians, recognising the unique heritage of our city but also the
00:51 cultural diversity.
