Transcript
00:00 You can't help but notice what today is.
00:03 This is the sixth anniversary of the Parkland school shooting.
00:07 And as we watch this scene out of Kansas City, this is the unfortunate reality,
00:12 even as we await so many of the details of what is happening there.
00:15 This is the reality of living in America, these shootings that you see.
00:19 And we are joined now by Manuel and Patricia Oliver,
00:23 who, of course, are the parents of Joaquin Oliver,
00:26 known lovingly as Guac by so many of his friends and family.
00:30 I'm not surprised at all.
00:33 It's like literally we interrupt this interview because we have another mass shooting going on,
00:39 and then you might be interrupting that one because there was going to be another one.
00:43 So it never stops.
00:45 And yes, we will investigate, but so far I can tell you two things.
00:48 There's a gun and there's people that were shot.
00:52 So far, without any investigation, I can tell that.
00:55 A common element, a gun, and someone shooting innocent people.
01:00 That should be enough for us to be offended and to start working on a solution.
