Cops nab 41 foreign women during vice sweep at entertainment centre in JB

Police have arrested 41 foreign women who were working as guest relations officers (GROs) at an entertainment centre in Taman Sentosa, in Johor Baru, Johor.  Johor police chief Comm M. Kumar said in a press conference at the Johor police Headquarters on Sunday (Feb 4) that the arrest was made during a raid by the Anti-Vice Gambling and Secret Societies Division (D7), Criminal Intelligence Branch (D4), and the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) special investigation (D9) unit. 00:48 15 Thai women, 22 Vietnamese women, 2 Chinese women, and 2 Laotian women were arrested.

01:01 The age of the arrest was 22 to 23 years.

01:04 And the investigation involved 202 people in that entertainment center.

01:11 Several items were stolen, and this case was investigated under Section 11, Section 2 of the State Enactment of Juhu.
