00:16 The pair were on the platform around midnight when Mr Chinian grabbed one of the woman's
00:21 belongings, believed to be her mobile phone, and threw it onto the tracks.
00:26 He jumped down onto the tracks to retrieve it when Mr Chinian saw a freight train approaching.
00:31 He jumped down off the platform to save her, but it was too late.
00:35 "Unfortunately a train approached at the time.
00:38 A collision resulted and tragically two persons have passed away."
00:41 Police and ambulance crews rushed to the station, but there was nothing they could do.
00:46 "Both ends of Baroura station car park were blocked.
00:50 Multiple police cars and a fire engine was in the car park."

00:55 The entire incident between the couple was captured on the train station's CCTV cameras.
