Schoolchildren will grow up with AI and should learn about it, tech insiders say

Some argue that as AI becomes a more common part of our lives, schoolchildren should learn about it.

00:19 at the very start of the digital revolution.

00:22 So we've got to, as teachers in the classroom,

00:24 constantly evolve what we're teaching, how we're teaching.

00:30 In the last year, we built a game called Generation AI,

00:46 which teaches children about the principles and ethical uses

00:50 of AI.

00:50 So from a very early age, we want

00:52 children to think about responsible use of AI.

00:55 What are the undependent principles?

00:57 For example, fairness.

00:58 What is fairness?

00:59 How do we avoid bias?

01:01 Why does AI potentially have bias,

01:04 and how do we avoid that?

01:05 And so we're starting to teach children not just how to use AI

01:08 but to think about AI use in everyday life

01:11 and how they would build upon that.

01:13 And we do that in a game-based way.

01:30 For students, they should learn AI or application ASAP.
