00:05 A Tanod was killed after a barangay hall in Maycawayan, Bulacan was shelled.

00:19 When the house was hit by a shell, the barangay hall of Bahay Pare in Maycawayan, Bulacan

00:24 at around 8, a Tanod was hit and killed by senior citizen Rodolfo Santiago. A bystander was brought to the hospital.

00:32 A story of a Tanod who was saved, who was sitting outside the barangay hall.

00:36 They were hit by shells before they were shot.

00:39 I was just waiting for someone to hit me.

00:47 I can't say because last night, someone was caught on drugs.

00:55 When I heard someone was shot, I went to the police station.

01:02 When I looked, they saw me. They shot me.

01:06 I ran away so I wouldn't get shot.

01:09 Then I came back here. I took the gun because I was trying to protect myself.

01:15 According to Captain Juscel Calvario of Maycawayan Police, he was on a ronda with two other police officers when someone shot them in the incident.

01:24 When we arrived there, we saw a gunman coming out of the barangay and shooting the barangay hall.

01:34 When they were about to leave, we saw them and we were shot.

01:39 We were shot.

01:42 Two police officers were killed.

01:45 Less than 16 bullets were fired in the crime scene.

01:48 They are still investigating the motive and who was the mastermind.

01:52 The barangay captain did not know that his son was the one who was in the wing of Tanod when the shooting happened.

02:08 Maycawayan Mayor Henry Villarica was friendly to the people who were injured by the police and promised to help.
