00:00 Last week, I updated the President on the security threats that we're facing in the country.
00:10 And when I mentioned to the President last week that we were going to have our Command Conference this week,
00:17 he himself said that he wants to attend the Command Conference of the Armed Forces of the Philippines.
00:25 And he wanted to give this guidance to our commanders from the field.
00:33 Because when he said this, the attendees for the AFP Command Conference are all the commanders in the field,
00:43 the unified commanders, the division commanders, our naval commanders, and even our air force commanders.
00:52 All of them are here.
00:55 Not only the commanders but also the joint staff are here.
00:59 And the commanders of the AFP-wide support units.
01:04 So almost all of the key leaders of the Armed Forces of the Philippines are here this morning.
01:13 And they all listened to the presentations that were given.
01:17 And finally, we listened to the guidance of the President.
01:22 And for his guidance, what I mentioned by our President is that just like with the past announcements that he made during the speeches,
01:36 he said that we needed to reconfigure our approaches to dealing with the different threats groups.
01:46 We need to deal with the communist terrorist groups, the local terrorist groups,
01:53 the threats that we are facing in the West Philippine Sea, and of course, the natural disasters.
02:03 All of these, all of these threats, are the ones that are challenging our Armed Forces of the Philippines.
02:14 And I told our President that we have to think of new ways of dealing with them, innovative ways.
02:22 That is why we have to really make sure that we study all of these things very carefully so that we come up with the necessary solutions.
