00:24 The Department of Migrant Workers of OFWs who lost their jobs in New Zealand
00:31 after the construction company ELA Limited Holdings declared bankruptcy.

00:47 in a weekly news forum in Quezon City this morning.
00:51 Right now, we gave 1,050 New Zealand dollars to around 107 eligible recipients.
01:05 For the numbers, this is the exact amount that we are expecting.
01:11 So, 107 were given.
01:14 Again, the amount given is 1,050 NZD.
01:20 Another 72 will be given.
01:25 After this, another 345 will be processed.
01:32 So in total, as per our OIC, total is 524.
01:39 She confirmed that the condition of the so-called OFWs is good.
01:44 For now, they have no intention of returning to the Philippines.
01:51 Aside from financial assistance, the government is also working on giving them jobs in New Zealand.

02:02 expressing interest to employ the employees of ELA Limited.

02:23 Aside from this, there are also 100 Filipinos living in the country who are no longer OFWs.

02:38 Meanwhile, the DMW also said that the 18 Filipino crewmen
02:47 who were riding the oil tanker that was hijacked by the Iranian armed forces in the Gulf of Oman are in good condition.
