As millions of Americans prepare for one storm, forecasters are already looking to another one that will come a few days later. Here's a breakdown of where the next January storm may strike.

00:00 Beyond the storm rolling across the country to end the work week, we've got
00:03 another one to look out for next week. Bernie Rayno and AccuWeather long-range
00:08 expert Joe Lundberg are showing us how this one will be a little bit different.
00:13 Well no rest for the weary as we get into next week Joe and the big story is
00:20 Arctic air starts coming south and east and that's going to give us a
00:24 opportunity for more storms including Sunday into Tuesday. Yeah I mean up to
00:30 this point in time the Arctic air has not been involved but the storm train
00:33 just keeps on coming and now we're going to inject that into the pattern so as
00:36 the Arctic air continues to expand southward this weekend it's going to
00:40 encounter moisture in the southern plains so as an area of low pressure
00:43 develops later this weekend ice may be a problem in Dallas all the way down to
00:47 San Antonio Sunday night into Monday that will expand northeastward and it
00:50 may not be so much about the intensity or exact track of the storm but the fact
00:54 that you've got cold air and precipitation which means travel
00:57 disruptions galore even with a storm that may not be all that strong. You know
01:01 we have some scenarios with this next storm obviously now there's two
01:05 scenarios an inland and weaker storm means more snow let's say toward the
01:11 coast but it wouldn't be a big snow storm but there'd be some snow and a
01:15 disruptive storm but Joe if that storm takes more of a coastal track it's going
01:20 to be stronger this could be a big snow storm for the central Appalachians all
01:25 the way up into New England probably rain though along the coast but no
01:29 matter what this storm does the one constant then behind it is going to be
01:34 the Arctic air. The Arctic air just keeps coming so behind that storm it's going
01:38 to be brutally cold all up and down the plain and it spreads to the east coast
01:42 you're not going to see the worst of it in the east that's back west of the
01:45 Appalachians 15 to 25 below normal and oh by the way skirting that there may be
01:51 another system late next week that comes out of the southern plains or lower
01:54 Mississippi Valley and moves its way toward the mid-atlantic coast and if
01:57 there's that system there on the north side of it you got to expect a little
02:00 more snow.
