00:00I am here on Virginia Beach in the southeastern part of Virginia ahead of a
00:04low-pressure area attempting to organize itself into a tropical storm just off
00:08the southeastern coast of the United States in the Atlantic. Now regardless of
00:12the storm is able to organize into a tropical storm or not, it's going to
00:15bring gusty winds, heavy rainfall and coastal flooding, and dangerous beach
00:20conditions including riptides and beach erosion. And we could especially see
00:24those beach erosion problems on the barrier islands, the outer banks that
00:27start in southeastern Virginia and make their way down across the Carolinas. Now
00:31already we were seeing gusty conditions here north of the low-pressure area on
00:35Virginia Beach. In fact, at the restaurant I was at last night, they were closing
00:39early due to the conditions here keeping people away. Not as many people here
00:43making it worth it to stay open. I will be tracking the storm here in the next
00:47couple of days on the AccuWeather Network. For AccuWeather, I'm Aaron Jajak.
