Police have arrested three people over the death of a 19-year-old man whose body was found on a remote road near Alice Springs last week. It comes as the victim's parents today broke their silence pleading for justice for their son.

00:12 A beloved son lost too soon, his family united in their grief.
00:20 Nineteen-year-old Yul Gatluwak had moved from Melbourne to Alice Springs after high school
00:25 for a fresh start as a mechanic and hoped soon his family would join him.
00:30 "He just called me, 'Happy Merry Christmas', just tell me, but he did not tell me 'Happy New Year'."
00:37 On January 1st, Yul's life came to a tragic end.
00:41 His lifeless body found abandoned on the side of the road, his family and Alice Springs
00:46 African community still mystified by his death.
00:50 "I miss a lot, I miss a lot. It cannot be described, you cannot describe how it is."
00:59 But today, some answers. Police arresting a teenager and two men aged 20 and 21 over the suspicious death.
01:08 "We're investigating a homicide, so the death of a person. Charges will be laid in due course,
01:15 we cannot give you a definitive timeline and what those actual charges will be also remains part of the investigation team's remit."
01:22 Police say the three people who were arrested at homes in Alice Springs were all locals
01:28 and it's believed they were known to Yul.
01:31 Police have also confirmed the 19-year-old sustained injuries, but would only say they were not penetrative in nature.
01:39 "We are still waiting on our forensic pathologist to provide us the additional detailed information and that is still pending."
01:47 The family is now raising money to bring Yul's body back to Melbourne so they can bury him.
01:53 In the meantime, they're begging for justice for their beloved boy.
