Hackey Wick businessman talks about damage caused by flooding

Simon Goode, of the studio and book shop London Centre for Book Arts in Dace Road, Hackney Wick, describes Thursday night’s flooding.

00:00 We came last night about midnight from the flooding of this, just coming in from the end of the road

00:06 off of the canal, like a waterfall, and it was up to a couple of feet high

00:11 and we couldn't get access to the studio.

00:14 This is the first time I've been here to see the extent of the flooding and the damage.

00:19 We don't know how much stuff has been affected and how much stock is damaged

00:23 and how many bits of equipment and stuff have suffered, so we're going to have a look now.
