Pemerintah sudah menetapkan kenaikan cukai rokok elektronik, yakni rata-rata 15 persen untuk rokok elektrik pada 1 Januari 2024. Harga rokok elektronik terbaru 2024 tertuang dalam Peraturan Menteri Keuangan (PMK) Nomor 192/PMK.010/2022 tentang Perubahan atas PMK Nomor 193/PMK.010/2021 tentang Tarif Cukai Hasil Tembakau Berupa Rokok Elektrik dan Hasil Pengolahan Tembakau Lainnya.

01:04 involve tobacco farmers and factory workers

01:06 who have been previously taxed for e-cigarettes since 2014.

01:10 Throughout 2023, the Ministry of Finance recorded

01:14 the revenue of e-cigarettes as only as much as Rp1.75 trillion,

01:18 or 1 percent of the total revenue of tobacco products or CHT in a year.

01:23 On the other hand, in the long term, the use of e-cigarettes

01:26 indicates that it affects health and the ingredients contained in e-cigarettes,

01:29 including in the consumer goods that need to be controlled.
