The police have not classified the murder case of autistic child Zayn Rayyan Abdul Matiin as "no further action” (NFA), despite the absence of new leads, said Selangor Police Chief Datuk Hussein Omar Khan on Tuesday (Jan 2).

00:19 On December 5 last year, six-year-old Zain Rayyan was reported missing in Damansara,
00:24 Idamai, before his body was found near a creek about 200 metres from his house at the Idaman
00:30 apartment the next day.
00:32 The child is believed to have been killed following an autopsy report which found injuries
00:37 to the neck and body, prompting the police to investigate the case under Section 302
00:42 of the Penal Code.
00:43 Police obtained 248 DNA samples, of which 246 were analysed, and all other samples sent
00:51 to the laboratory have not led to positive results that could assist in the investigations.
00:57 The police have also sought help from the Interpol to review some information and evidence
