00:45 the parents. Lawyer Mahmoud Jumad, who's representing Zain Ryan's mother, said the objection was

00:51 against an application by the police under Section 26 Bracket 1 of the Evidence Act to

00:57 obtain a guilty plea from his client. He said that, during the closed-door proceedings,

01:02 his client "did not make any plea" but instead provided testimony to Magistrate Zafran Rahim

01:09 Hamza. Zain Ryan's father was not brought to the court to attend the proceedings, which

01:15 lasted for an hour.

01:16 The court ruled that Zain Ryan's father did not make any plea.
