How Fireworks Australia grew from a small toy shop to a company with a global reach - and its latest offering will light up the Canberra sky on Sunday night.

00:00 So what you're seeing here is some aluminium frames we've had fabricated

00:04 and we attached to them bunches of Roman candles.

00:07 It's a new thing for us.

00:09 Two of these sets are going to be put on the Commonwealth Avenue Bridge.

00:12 Each one of these devices is a bunch of Roman candles,

00:15 about six candles in one of those,

00:17 and they will look like massive sunflowers.

00:21 And the theme of this sequence is some setting suns,

00:26 the end of a COVID period,

00:27 and putting all that behind us now and celebrating, you know,

00:30 the beginning of 2024.

00:32 So we have a treacly love song

00:34 that we're going to pop some love heart shells over the top of.

00:37 So during that love song, some love heart shells will break.

00:41 When things get faster towards the end,

00:44 we start bouncing things in sharp shots around the end,

00:47 running into the finale, which will go from every place quickly.
