00:03 - 239, 240, that's Kansas and UNLV.
00:06 Oh, hold on now.
00:07 What is this like 50 years between bowl games
00:08 between both of these teams here?
00:10 And nine o'clock starts tonight.
00:11 This is prime time.
00:12 The Anvil Sportsbook opened up this line
00:14 at minus 10 and a half for Kansas.
00:16 It now sits at 11 and a half
00:18 as a favorite for the Kansas Jayhawks.
00:20 A total, how about this?
00:21 61 and a half, the opening number.
00:23 We're up to 66 and a half.
00:25 It's gonna be a barnstorming effort today
00:28 out of the guaranteed rate bowl here, Davis.
00:30 - All right, I've got breaking news here on the program
00:34 before we get into breaking down the guaranteed rate bowl.
00:37 Luke McCaffrey, his brother, Christian McCaffrey,
00:42 his dad, Ed McCaffrey.
00:44 Their brother, Max, used to be a wide receiver at Duke.
00:47 He has been on the practice squad for some NFL teams
00:50 and his brother, Dylan, is the starting quarterback
00:55 at Northern Colorado.
00:57 What a dynasty, what a dynasty of a football team.
01:00 So you've got something to sweat today
01:01 with Luke McCaffrey.
01:03 Kansas, UNLV, I will be rooting on Lance Leopold and Kansas.
01:08 I went to Kansas State, Donnie,
01:10 but I am a Kansas boy through and through.
01:12 I will always be rooting for my home state boys.
01:15 Either team, either sport, doesn't matter to me.
01:18 I will always want the Midwest to prosper.
01:23 UNLV is not a very good football team.
01:26 They were nine and four, but they were in the Mountain West
01:29 when they went up against real teams.
01:30 They got absolutely smoked.
01:33 They do have, if you're looking for a guy
01:35 who might be playing on Sundays in the future,
01:37 they have one guy who's kind of interesting.
01:40 Ricky White transferred from Michigan State,
01:42 didn't start playing until last year.
01:44 He had 1,400 yards for UNLV this season.
01:48 No other player on the team had more than 500 receiving yards.
01:52 I always love to see that stuff.
01:54 And then another guy who I think has got a Sunday future
01:57 is the KU Jayhawks running back, Devin Neal.
02:01 He was far and away the most productive guy on the team.
02:05 He's pretty small, so it would be more
02:07 in like a Niheem Hines style role
02:10 than coming in and being a lead back,
02:14 but I think he's pretty interesting.
02:15 And then the KU season in general is just crazy
02:19 because every game you'd go in
02:21 and start trying to handicap and you'd be like,
02:22 why is Jalen Daniel still listed as questionable?
02:25 He would just be listed as questionable every week.
02:27 He only threw 75 passes for the entire season.
02:31 Jason Bean was like a fine backup quarterback,
02:33 you know, only threw 12 touchdowns,
02:35 but a 10.2 or a 9.8 YPA, he's fine.
02:39 This will be, this should be a pretty fun game.
02:41 I think Kansas is pretty fun on offense.
02:43 They're like pretty mediocre on defense.
02:45 It should be a pretty fun one.
