Direktur Eksekutif Center of Reform on Economic (CORE) Indonesia, Mohammad Faisal menyebut, turunnya kinerja ekspor Indonesia yang terus terjadi selama 1 tahun ini, tidak lepas dari kondisi global. Khususnya negara mitra utama, seperti China dan Amerika yang menurunkan permintaannya, sehingga membuat permintaan komoditas tanah air juga mengalami pelemahan.
