00:10 Hello, it's Santa and I've come all the way
00:12 from the North Pole to the Delish Studios.
00:15 They've laid out some cookies for me to try to see
00:18 which have been on the nice list
00:20 and which have been a little bit on the naughty list.
00:23 Now Mrs. Claus is minding the store at the North Pole,
00:26 getting the sleigh ready,
00:27 but for me, (laughs)
00:30 I get to try these wonderful cookies.
00:32 Without further ado, let's try some cookies, shall we?
00:36 (laughs)
00:38 Let's see what we have here today.
00:40 Ooh, chocolate chip cookies, absolute classic
00:44 and one of Santa's favorites.
00:45 Let's try it and find out.
00:47 Absolutely delish.
00:51 Sweet, chocolatey, gooey, soft.
00:55 This is definitely on the nice list this year.
00:57 (laughs)
00:58 One of Santa's favorites.
01:00 And of course, in between each cookie,
01:02 Santa has to cleanse his palate.
01:04 Nice cold milk.
01:06 Delicious.
01:11 Now we have something slightly different.
01:13 These are the Delish lemon butter cookies.
01:17 That sounds promising.
01:20 Let's find out.

01:25 Santa's not really a big fan of lemon,
01:28 but I have to tell you, these are truly delish.
01:31 Santa's definitely giving this a nice rating.
01:35 I might need to take these home to Mrs. Claus.

01:38 Or maybe just for myself.

01:43 And on to round number three,
01:45 we have the second most common Christmas cookie,
01:49 the gingerbread man or woman.
01:52 Let's see, they smell wonderful.
01:55 They just smell decadent.
01:57 Maybe too decadent.
01:59 These might be on the naughty list.
02:02 Let's find out.
02:03 It's just so good, it melts in your mouth.
02:07 I think Mrs. Claus is gonna be surprised
02:10 when I bring home some friends for her as well.
02:14 A great cookie, even if a bit naughty.
02:20 Now this one is a little different
02:22 from what I normally see on Christmas Eve.
02:25 These are a toasted sesame cookie.
02:28 Santa's not a big fan of sesame,
02:31 but they look yummy, let's find out.
02:34 While sesame may not be Santa's favorite,
02:39 it might be yours.
02:40 The sesame gives it a very nice taste.
02:43 Very good, very, very good.
02:47 Now while I normally get things like chocolate chip cookies
02:50 or oatmeal or even those lemon cookies were very good,
02:54 I think these sesame cookies would be a nice change of pace
02:58 come Christmas Eve and you know,
03:00 I think even the reindeer would like them.

03:03 I definitely think this belongs on the nice list.
03:06 May not be my favorite, but like I said, it could be yours.

03:16 Now I've never seen a cookie quite like this.

04:23 It's the all time Christmas classic, the sugar cookie.

04:28 Now I know the people of Delish are watching what we do
04:30 at the North Pole because these cookies were originated
04:34 by one of our elves, Sugar Smack.
04:36 One of the elves who helped pack Santa's toys.
04:38 It's crispy, yet a little soft, very sweet.
04:42 Sort of like Mrs. Claus, if you will.

04:45 Very good, now I'm gonna give this a nice.
04:49 Now let's see what we have.
04:51 An absolute classic for Christmas, snowball cookies.
04:55 Not the kinds you use in snowball fights, mind you.
04:58 And I have to tell you, I hope they taste
05:00 as good as they look.

05:05 The sweet nutty center of them.
05:07 Oh my goodness, I wouldn't use these in a snowball fight.
05:10 These are going into Santa's tummy.
05:12 (laughs)
05:13 These are definitely on the naughty list
05:15 'cause they are absolutely decadent.
05:18 Have you been in a snowball fight lately?
05:21 Would you use these?
05:22 I wouldn't, these are mine.

05:25 Now these cookies are something that Santa
05:27 is not too familiar with.
05:29 These may look like gingerbread cookies, but they're not.
05:34 These are molasses cookies.
05:36 Interesting, these are soft,
05:40 as opposed to the gingerbread cookies,
05:41 which are nice and crunchy.
05:43 And I like both.
05:45 This is definitely on the nice list.
05:46 Very tasty.
05:47 (laughs)
05:49 I think these would be Mrs. Claus approved.
05:51 Comes towards the end of Santa's run,
05:56 and I'm heading back to the North Pole.
05:58 I like to relax with a nice, soft, gooey cookie.

06:02 I like these molasses cookies.
06:04 Good job, Delish.
06:06 Now as you can imagine, wrapping millions of toys,
06:10 we have lots of trash that we have to recycle.
06:13 We have paper and ribbon and packing
06:15 and well, even extra toy parts.
06:18 Well, the elves had a great idea,
06:21 and they came up with Santa's trash cookies.
06:24 (laughs)
06:26 Now there are potato chips instead of paper
06:29 and pretzels instead of ribbon,
06:31 and even chocolate chip cookies instead of packing.
06:34 And I have to tell you, this one, I can't wait to try.

06:40 Tastes a lot better than wrapping paper.
06:43 And I have to tell you, very, very good.
06:46 Crunchy, sweet, little salty, an excellent choice.
06:51 I'm not sure about that name, Santa's trash,
06:54 but thank you, Delish.
06:55 These are interesting and delicious.

07:27 whether meringue is a cookie or not.
07:31 I'm not weighing judgment on it,
07:32 but look at these beautiful peppermint meringue cookies.

07:39 I hope these are as delicious as they look.
07:43 These are a Christmas classic.
07:48 They're a candy cane waiting to be eaten as a cookie.
07:51 Oops, did I say cookie?
07:53 I don't want the elves to get upset.
07:55 I think these qualify as a cookie,
07:57 and they definitely, definitely qualify

08:12 because whether you think that meringue is a cookie or not,
08:15 this is absolutely delicious,
08:18 and I'm going to tell you that elves,
08:20 Mrs. Claus, and snowmen alike,
08:22 they're going to love these, and so will you.
