What Sydney's 2023 New Year's Eve fireworks will look like

Sydney will ring in the new year with Bluey, a celebration of First Nations culture and AI-driven projections as one of the first major cities in the world to kick off the celebrations.

00:31 Well, apart from the thousands of kilometres of cable and lights that we always use,

00:35 we're adding in an AI component this year.

00:38 It will be the first time that artificial intelligence has been a part of the artworks.

00:44 So we're going to feed AI streams directly into the lights this year.

00:48 Really fun things like balloons and donuts and galaxies and kaleidoscopes.
