Senators condemn Marawi bombing attack

00:00 The Senate, as a single institution and collegial body, expressed a unified response of condemnation
00:05 and a vow to put the perpetrators of the latest act of terrorism down south before the bar
00:10 of justice.
00:11 And on Wednesday, the senators are set to face off with the top law enforcement agencies
00:16 and the military to strategize in keeping the violence contained and keeping peace and
00:22 order maintained all over the country.

00:29 Senators stood up to the plenary condemning the attack in Marawi City, particularly in
00:35 Mindanao State University, with one call to arrest the perpetrators and bring justice
00:41 to the victims, saying that condemnation isn't enough given the need to hold all those responsible
00:48 for the crime accountable.
00:49 We also want to appeal to the Bansamoro Autonomous Government.
