Amazon has become the largest delivery service in the US, surpassing both UPS and FedEx in parcel volumes. Amazon delivered more packages to US homes in 2022 than UPS, after having already eclipsed FedEx in 2020. Amazon is on track to widen the gap between itself and UPS and FedEx for parcel deliveries in the US in 2023. The US Postal Service still handles the most package volumes overall in the US, delivering hundreds of millions of packages annually for Amazon, UPS and FedEx. Amazon had already delivered over 4.8 billion packages in the US alone before Thanksgiving.
