00:05 That's 259 people in Victoria. It's just so devastating. 17 in the last 17 years.

00:13 This is the highest. It's absolutely tragic. The majority of these can be prevented.

00:18 Really minor speed offences and just a slight distraction. You've got to

00:24 get off your phones. You've just got to pay attention. Lower your speed. Stick to

00:28 the speed signs. You see a blind corner or something coming up,

00:33 please slow down and drive to the conditions. We just don't want any more deaths or

00:37 serious injuries on the road. It's just devastating. People on drugs, get off the

00:41 drugs. We will catch you. Essentially we are testing. There's a really high chance

00:46 if you're getting pulled over for just a random check or a breath test, you're also

00:49 going to be drug tested. And what sort of impact do these fatalities have on first

00:53 responders? Oh, it's just horrific. It's not just first responders, it's the

00:57 community, it's the families, it's just everyone involved. It's just heartbreaking.
