00:03Australian roads and time may tell that some of those were preventable but at
00:09the end of the day it's just mind-blowing that we can lose six
00:13people in such a short period of time and the ongoing ripple effect for loved
00:18ones is going to be Christmas and all those times when they look to their
00:23loved ones and they're not there so my heart goes out to those people. There
00:28seems to be a small proportion of West Australians that still don't think
00:32they're going to get caught and they still don't think it happens to them but
00:36I'm here to tell you that rogue trauma happens to real people and there's six
00:39families right now grieving that are sitting there that didn't probably think
00:44it was ever going to happen to them. I talk about speed and every kilometre counts
00:49there's a lot of research that will tell you that for every kilometre you do over
00:52the speed limit there's a four to five percent chance that the outcome of that
00:56is actually going to be a fatal outcome but what I say is and I've said it before
01:01loved ones and people that are dear if you see your loved ones taking risky or
01:07making risky decisions or risky behaviours it's up to you to intervene to say
01:12that to raise it that that's not good enough because people are dying out there
01:17through things that are totally preventable and it is frustrating to see
