It was the Perikatan Nasional administration under Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin that moved the Community Communications Department (J-Kom) to the Prime Minister's Department, says Deputy Communications and Digital Minister Teo Nie Ching.
Teo said this in response to Datuk Wan Saiful Wan Jan's (PN-Tasek Gelugor) suggestion that the department should move back to the Communications and Digital Ministry, as J-Kom had failed to carry out its role effectively, and the recent scandal involving its top leadership had worsened the situation.
